Siem Reap Conference on Special Topics in Khmer Studies
5th Annual International Conference — Siem Reap, Cambodia — December 6th to 8th, 2014

People, Pots and Places: New Research on Ceramics in Cambodia

» ABOUT

The annual Siem Reap Conference on Special Topics in Khmer Studies is designed to bring together the foremost experts in a very specific subject area, over two or three days, with a view to advancing scholarship in that particular domain. The scope of each year's meeting is quite specific; the conferences are relatively small, and there are no parallel sessions. The themes are designed specifically to bridge the divide between past and present, and have covered a diverse range of disciplines in the first five years. The organising committee welcomes suggestions for future themes.

The conference will be carried out in two languages, Khmer and English, and provision will be made for interpreting between the two.

The annual conference is jointly organised by five institutions: the Centre for Khmer Studies, the Friends of Khmer Culture Incorporated, the University of Sydney, the École française d’Extrême-Orient, and the APSARA National Authority.

You are welcome to contact the organising committee via email.
